Summary of allegory of the cave

     In the allegory of the cave talks about how humans are in caves chained up like if they were dogs.They have no were to go they only see the fact that they are chained up like animals who cant be controlled. They only see the shadows of themselves and the chain around grasping tightly around their arms and necks. They are chained up towards the opening of the cave to basically torture them in some ways. The author did this grab the audience attention. These are chained up and are feeling lonely and feel that they are in the darkness alone and scared.
